Pros & Cons
Pros
Built a deck over weekend and used this for the deck screws. After driving over 300 screws, the first one is only slightly worn, and looks better than any dewalt, * or irwin bit often does after just a few dozen screws.
Cons
Makita normally makes good stuff, but these are utter garbage. They shear off at the top of the screw head.
Highlights
Quality
Nice tight grip and a lasting end to replace the cheapy that came with the screws.
These are well made and strong torx drivers.
Outlasted all the others i tried while building my deck
Installed a fence after purchasing these driving a couple hundred screws and im still on the first bit.
Price
The price is a bit more, but in this case you truly get what you pay for.
Shipping
Would have been great if they're shipped in a bit holder case.
Packaging/appearance
Bought the 5 pack and expected to use most of them to drive trailer decking screws into steel channel irons.
Competitiveness
So that makes these better metal than the husky brand.
I don’t often write reviews, but this product is so superior to others that i’ve bought and used that i just had to say so.
I know a lot of companies are making impact bits now and i've used most all of them but none come even close to these.
I would go as far as saying that they last 3x longer than dewalt equivalents.
