Pros

The magnet is strong and will drill up to a 3 screw without having to guide/hold onto it with your hand. Fits over 1/4 base bits/screw tips that are at least 1 1/2 long. Works great on xps bits, especially driving screws in the ceiling, no need to wat... Read More

High level of magnetism. Magnets are super strong though. The makita e-03442 has a stronger magnet but it is pricier.

Cons

Dewalt sleeve holds the fastener straight and the makita sleeve doesn’t. It doesn't have the standard hex shank hole, rather it has 3 detents in a pretty small hole.

Unlike their previous mag booster, the plastic one that is awesome, this is terrible. I was using a makita impact on the softest setting - there's no way this would survive repeat use. Don’t like it and am returning.
