The saw is very easy to start so long as you don't flood it. As for power, this thing is a beast. The saw has incredible power and never bogged on any of the cuts.

Windstorm happened a week ago and i needed to cut up a couple of downed trees this as ate them up

If you spend about 50 more you can get the full magnesium body version of the same saw which is what i would have bought if i was cutting more frequently

Do your research and you will probably come to the same conclusion after reading all the horrible reviews and issues those other saws suffer
