Quality

I used this grinder for two solid months, grinding away spalling concrete from rebar, using a makita diamond blade, and it worked great.

It's strong, easy to use, has lots of torque and makita's grinding wheels are really super.

The dust was horrendous - like a sahara sandstorm, and every so often i would clean the dust from the tool with an air compressor.

If you do a lot of grinding you will appreciate the makita quality, solid build and narrow profile.

Price

This is an awesome machine for the size and price.

Competitiveness

Plenty of power compared to models like ryobi or rigid, (i own all 3).

I'd buy it again in an instant, i've always enjoyed makita products in the past, and this is more of that.
