Pros

Usual high quality makita product. It’s vastly superior. Stronger, easier guide stop and stronger motor.

Anti-vibration technology is fantastic when you are on a ladder and sawing above your head. Quick hub release for the blades. Metal latches fit snug.

Stronger, easier, one handed blade clamp. It is heavier but looks like it will last longer than the milwakees we have purchased.

Great brand. Good price. Very happy with it. Highly recommend. This thing is a beast!

This utility saw has impressed me with it's durability, ergonomics and power.

I use it for recycling and cutting metal products and it has great power and cuts right through what i need.

I didn’t listen and bought one and sure enough both the blade holding clamp and the guide stop broke quickly.

If you don’t, buy something else or if it’s too heavy you should frankly not be doing this kind of work.

Price

Strong and easy to use at a good price.

It seemed a little pricey to me but i sure got what i paid for.

Considering the difference in price was minimal, it was a wonderful upgrade!

Bought this makita 12 amp reciprocating saw to replace another brand that had died.

As a professional tradesman, there's only 2 companies that clearly make the best all around products; makita and milwaukee.

I generally burn up my other brand i was using about every 9 months to a year.
