What can i say other than i am thrilled with the saw and also with how it arrived.
Overall, i am very impressed with the build quality, smooth operation and ease of tuning of this saw.
Could be a better quality steel but all in all i'm happy with it .
Half the reviews on here have nothing to do with the saw, and the other one is comparing a $1500-$2000 saw to this one.

Price is good and if it's ever on sale, get it, you won't be sorry.

Very few things needed to be put together so its basically ready right out of the box.
Packaging is not up to the job.
The packaging was robust and they had styrofoam and padding where it should have been to protect it from rough shipping and handling.
Competitiveness
The capacity is so much greater than festool as well as the power.
40% the price of the festool kapex and i’m just as impressed with it!
I have a festool mini vac and with that connected dust collection is excellent no cleanup really.

I like many others was interested in this saw because i liked the small footprint in my garage workspace compared to my dewalt knowing also that i would be transporting the makita tofrom the job site at least half the month
