Pros
Used to cut metal staircase pickets and metal piping works awesome. Standard blade replacement is easy (with wrench supplied). Backstop is good. The return spring is horizontal coil instead of vertical coil, but return is not a problem.

Very good product, great price, really happy with this purchase
Competitiveness
Only used it for a month but it has more power and tighter clamping than my last no-name cutoff saw.
My main complaint is it is less aggressive than the earlier model.
