Pros & Cons
Pros
Makita blower has enough power to do most jobs, reasonable battery life. Works well at low and better at the highest setting for quickly clearing small areas of dry leaves, light debris and sand. Used daily to blow off the front walk, back lanai and u... Read More
This baby does the job. This thing puts in work. Fast shipping, and great product.
It is at least as powerful as the corded one it replaces. The tube is adjustable, and it makes a big difference on moving the air.
Storage - is very nice because it takes up a very small footprint when stood in end leaning against something. The cordless is a major advantage for cleaning the roof. Don’t forget a shoulder strap, it’s handy as well.
Cons
The power required to run ope tools for long periods of time simply requires far greater capacity than is practical with an 18v platform. This work stoppage is such a major inconvenience that i exchanged for another brand with better design.
Highlights
Quality
Their tools are well designed and durable.
Great tool a must have save time & clean up like the pros!
At max power it moves dried leaves, grass clippings and small debris adequately.
0 makita batteries didn’t even lose 1 bar of charge.
Price
I bought my complete kit on may 31 for $239 and am loving it to death.
Very nice unit at a good price @ $279.
I returned it and ordered a 765 cfm blower for less cost.
If you are thinking about buying a blower this large and expensive it is likely because you have a fair bit to do.
Packaging/appearance
I have a bunch of 18v makita batteries from other tools so this tool-package was perfect.
Two included batteries were installed when i opened the box, and were discharged completely.
Competitiveness
I will definitely be looking at other makita products in the series.
Compared to the wimpy gas blower i have that sometimes refuses to start, the cordless, powerful makita is well worth the few minor issues.
Compared to other brands i've used i'd say makita is more refined.
Fortunately i have other makita brand tools that use the same batteries.
