Pros

Reviews about popping, explosions and * while in operation is quite humorous. This isn't the bluetooth version, but i effectively turn it into one with a cheap remote control outlet. Handy auto-power accessory outlet.

The rigid is the quietest big box store shop vac you can get. The filter doesn't clog, and it makes much less noise.

Cons

It consists of a couple pages of inscrutable pictures, and a think book containing essentially useless text translated into every language known to man. If you use the extractor regularly, this is a bad choice, as it costs a ton to keep it running.

Worked great turning off and on with the saw.

The "banging" sound is also helpful when using tools with the auto function.

After only 3 weeks of use a client asked -- when it bangs -- if there's something wrong with the machine.

Might just stick with the vac bags.

The banging and shaking is the machine "banging the dust out of the filter".

Competitiveness

It's a great value compared to festool.

Much much quieter than my previous shopvac and dewalt vacuums, and better suction.

Everything is very easy to find and prices are comparable to festool or cheaper.

I opted for this verses a festool because you can use without a vac bag.
