Overall i am happy with the xbu04z.
I use this one and let my son use the xbu02z while he helps with the leaves.

For comparison, i had to switch out batteries three times before my son had to switch out the batteries once on the xbu02z.
Competitiveness
As for blowing, it has just as much power as the makita 36v xbu02pt1 blower.
I also have a makita xbu02z lxty x2 blower.

Sometimes it jams stops on its own and i have to release the trigger and start it back up again

You really have to screws these down tight or else the blower wont start
