Highlights
Quality
Having decades of chainsaw experience, much of it professionally, i am pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance of this unit.
I have been taking this and leaving the gas saw when out clearing land with the tractor.
I have no real complaints and with the exception of the limitations of battery operation.
Be sure you use the chain with the right gage.
Competitiveness
Moved to 18v 3a battery tools in mid 2000's for hand tools and still use them today.
36v and taking the standard 18v battery is a great feature.
This saw is not a replacement for a 36in gas chainsaw.
You'll definitely want a pair of 5ah batteries with this, and i find myself wishing for a dual charger.

One small nit on the blower is that the air intake is in the back of the unit so it tends to grab clothing when you swing it in front of your shirt or shorts

The chainsaw is more like 15 mins of pure run time it doesnt idle so thats cutting time and batteries get hot so you have to let them cool before recharging

Any pinching has a tendency to cause the tool to shut down for a moment due to overheating even though the motor gleefully defies the pinch

Its hard to tell when its under a lot of load because it doesnt slow down that much the first real indication is the batteries dying quickly or overheat protection kicking in
