Pros

It works like regular chain saw but lighter and soo much easier to start. This saw allows me to be articulate and precise with less effort.

Makita 4ah battery and charger. Picked up a couple more batteries(not oem). V batteries. I suspect the makita branded batteries would only improve the user experience.

I use the stihl all-in-on sharpener to take care of the chain after every use. The chain is still razor sharp and has been the longest lasting chain i have ever used. The only downside is that once i used it and found out how great it was we find ours... Read More

This saw is light, nicely balanced, has plenty of torque, and plenty of battery life when paired with the 6.

He can cut off unwanted limbs or even cut down small trees without having to fool with the big, awkward gas-powered saw.

The dewalt batteries and adapter are the weak link by far as they overheat pretty easily, especially the 8hr.
