Pros

Saw slices through pine & hardwood like butter. With the 12 inch bar it has nice balance and tears through limbs with ease. This saw is incredible!

Works really well, the 18v double batteries plow through stuff. It's not light with two batteries, but the batteries are interchangeable with all the other makita tools. Battery life is pretty good.

This saw is quieter for those times when early morning or odd times require a quieter option for picky customers. No exhaust fumes from this saw or gas fumes.

The ms201-this saw with the batteries is heavier than those two saws, but just barely noticeable. The battery life is not as long as i'd like it to be but longer than i expected for a batter driven chainsaw.

Makita saw for small trees in tight spaces. Works great for trees that have died or have been blown over by high winds. Made in colorado, colorado.

Cons

Amazon really wants to sell this chainsaw to me but can't get it delivered. It has tons of power, it is just not up to true hardwood. I have no earthly idea how to put it together.

Instead it came with oregon chains even when packaging and description said makita chains.

A nice chainsaw, comes with 2 5ah batteries and the charger (that can charge both at the same time).

This is the top handle saw to buy with lots of power in comparison to the 18v volt stuff.
