Pros & Cons
Pros
The built-in led lights work great for lighting up your work surface. It handles screw driver functions well in that the clutch is easily adjusted. Buy it and never have to worry about need for a screw driver or drill again.
Makita tool closet is extremely red, and they've done me well during my time performing smart home device installations. Also in the middle of designing/building a portable sawmill.
Como atornillador cuánta con 21 grados de torque. Lots of torque. It provides noticeable more torque than the craftsman cordless drill that i had been using.
Cons
I'm an hvac tech by trade and in 30 yrs this is the weakest drill i've ever had. The battery works very little and discharges after a few drilled holes. Charger seems cheap.
Highlights
Quality
Great drill for most applications in wood and metal
The battery holds a charge for a long time and the power in this drill is perfect for all of my diy tasks around the house.
Drills right through 1/8th inch mild steel.
I used this drill for both jobs and ran into no problems, the battery lasted a long time, i had no overheating, and all my dril... Read More
Price
Overall, for the price, this is an excellent drill and highlight recommend it.
This is a great drill for the price given the charger and battery are included.
Purchased on amazon because it was cheaper than in colombia, shipping included.
Having used "inexpensive" drills and impact drivers for years using the makita tools makes me realize that i have been cheating myself.
Packaging/appearance
Also included in the box is a small nylon makita zippered storage bag and paper manuals for the drill and charger.
Came with a carrying case (bag with handles and zipper) to hold the drill, battery and charger, but you do have to stuff everyt... Read More
Competitiveness
It also has a significant amount of airflow and heat dissipation of the motor, way more than my ryobi.
Best of all, it's a bit more affordable than my milwaukee's of yore.
So i tried some 'name brand' chinese tools, which felt cheaper with a worse chuck and torque.
This one had most of the features i was looking for than other major brands in the price range.
