Pros
Great tool for framing houses and installing subfloor glue tubes. Works as expected. Haven't had a tube of glue explode yet.

Worked great with the large tube of subfloor adhesive.
With the 29 oz tubes it was a breeze compared to using a sausage gun and especially a mechanical caulking gun.
I would purchase again; however, the quality of the tool may make it impossible.
Other than that it is a good product.

It releases slightly when you let off the trigger to ensure that caulk does not keep coming out

If makita made it to easily fit the regular sized caulk tubes it would be fantastic

I have the regular caulk gun made by makita and see no reason why they couldn’t use a smaller push pan and a smaller hole at the front where the caulk tube comes out of the gun

With those changes it would work for both sizes of caulk tubes and would be much more useable
