Pros

None of that headache and hassle with this battery-powered mower. The batteries have good life. The bb store offers a 10% discount for vets and 2% cash back when using their credit card.

Mows a hilly 1/2 acre in about 6 batteries (5aph) it would be nice if it had front swivel wheels, then it make it easier to maneuver.

Self propel feature works so well i doubt many will care. If it had lurched, who knows what could've happened. Power drive works effortlessly.

I sharpen my blades every season and the gas mower's blade was stout. There is some flex in the design so that if you set the front wheels down hard when making a turn, the flex works like suspension and the blade cuts shorter than it would otherwise.... Read More

Very pleased with the quality of construction.

The material quality is very high and the assembly was super easy.

Upon inspection the hardware bag had ripped open and only 1 of 6 bolts were remaining with the mower.

My local air quality resources board is offering up a $200 rebate when turning in a gas mower as well.

Price

At full price, i would say only get it if you have other makitas.

First let me say got mower on sale, if this was full price probably wouldn't buy because of original cost.
