I am very happy with the makita string trimmer.
I am very impressed with the power and performance of this weed eater.
Attn makita, toss the junk head that comes with thing and sell it with the makita b-02945.
Now i get 5 minutes of use at a time in between messing with the string.
Price
I would love to say good things about it but it has cost me a lot of $.

Another issue is that if you let go of the handle and let it dangle from your shoulder by the strap it always flips upside down so you have to rotate it 180 degrees to use it again

Two other issues that i have is that it is slightly underpowered and will bog down in heavy weeds and the bump and go line feed does not work as well as i would like

Replaces stihl fs85 gas trimmermuch much lighter and requires no prep and startup time really grab and goenough power for real brushcuttingworks at any position eg overhead unlike gas

String gauge too small and or not as powerful as a gas

The only time i had to put it on the high setting was when i was clearing and actual path in a large area and not just a line around a tree or building
