It easily cuts older thick canes, young hippy canes and very thick burdock stems. Cuts through 5/8” buckthorn like butter. Doesn't fume or spew noxious fumes.

It cuts down into the dirt to get buried roots and vines i used it to lever small piles of above off to the side i honestly thought i pushed it too hard

Even my mower blades have standard threading reverse threading needs to be labeled on the machine
