Pros

Makita is known for good battery life. Its a keeper. I wish the battery lasted longer bc my yard is large but buying a back up battery would remedy that.

Don't have to worry storing gasoline.

Great product. For limited amount of time reaching under or above for extra length is a real plus. Well worth the little extra above the other competitors. Way beyond my expectations.

Two speed w/variable trigger. Works good for my small yard.

Cons

The battery is bad. The charger is bad. This has to be the worst * trimmer i have ever purchased. Don't waste your money. Not an edger.
