Pros

This ratchet is great. It’s super fast, and seems like it has some good torque. I already have makita 18v tools and needed a cordless ratchet to help with those tasks that require seemingly endless back and forth ratcheting with two hands.

Only thing i don't like is the directional switch on the head. It saves me a lot of time by removing nuts and bolts quickly. This allows me to do all of that without switching tools.

The changeable 3/8 and 1/4 square socket adapters are great. Works with chrome sockets and easy to flip directions.

Cons

Lasted 7 months. Now i get the annoying part of dealing with warranty and hoping they will even cover this repair because of their extremely brittle metal and horribly designed switch.

The interchangeable anvil design is a weak spot for this tool. The only way it will work properly is if you put your weight on the wrench. The teeth are stripped in the head. For professional mechanics, don't even bother.

This tool is worthless to me and i'm surprised with makita for allowing such a worthless design to pass their quality assurance department. Save your money this tool is a dud.

Product is versitle and fits in hard to reach places and delivers the torque!

I tried lubricating it and gave it time to break in, but i'm still unable to change the anvil without hitting the tool with a mallet.

It was priced very well and i recommend it

Makita tools are typically expensive, but i'd rate this one an excellent buy!

Skip the cheap no-name ones on amazon.

The amazon value is amazing at 108.

It was an open box with the bag containing the drive anvils cut open and it wasn't fresh.
