Pros

Light in weight, no annoying cord and more powerful than my corded skilsaw. Lxt battery life is great. Little features like the rip scale on front and back of the base make quick rips a breeze.

It has been roundly abused and still runs like new. I have several makita tools and this one performed superbly. It performs just as good as the day i bought it.

Ripped a 1x6 in half once with help from a reciprocating saw. Plenty of power for ripping plywood and cutting 2x material. With a right hand blade it is easier for right handed people to see their cut line.

Cons

The saw is almost entirely plastic. Adjustments for depth and angle are very cumbersome and inaccurate. It has zero power.

This saw fits my grip perfectly, operates smoothly and had no issues going through either framing or sheet good materials.

Plenty of power and has a good weight and solid sturdy feel.

Usually lasts 1 year plus with light commercial use, last one i bought crapped out in less than a month.

This saw is lightweight and being brushless i used with a 5 ah battery.

Price

This saw is well worth the 200 bucks if you use your tools daily.

I could not find this for sale on amazon and so purchased it elsewhere.

Was with my first time buying it on amazon cause it's 30$ cheaper than stores

A little overpriced but it wort it; this is a really good and strong little saw.

This is the way all makita tools used to be before they had to compete with cheaper competitors.

I have 2 other big brand saws, both with "bigger" batteries, and this is becoming my favorite.

I looked at several different brands before deciding on a makita cordless circular saw.

It is expensive but provides better value than my f150.
