Pros
The drill is much heavier than the impact driver, and it's probably more powerful than most corded 1/2 drills. It matches/out powers many quality corded 3/4 drills.
Xdt16 impact driver is awesome, its really small and handy which delivers great performance. The selectable speeds and torque make this the ideal driver for anything around the house or working on my truck.
Cons
In the box i only got the tools, a bag and a charger. Sent it back right after it was delivered. I am very unhappy about this bait and switch.

Lots of research before getting these and the quality does not disappoint.
It matches/out powers many quality corded 3/4 drills!
The impact driver is amazingly light and small, even with the 5ah battery and it has loads of power.
But this was a good price and i'm not happy with the durability of dewalt battery tech.
Shipping
The impact is fast and doesn't slow on deck size screws.
Competitiveness
Well worth the extra $$ if you're on the fence about spending that extra amount with comparable models.
I am thinking about getting a 2ah or 1.
It's a no-brainer to buy this instead of one of the single-tool kits -- you get a second top-of-the-line tool for only a few dollars more.

I believe these are made in china now if it was japanese i would give it 5 stars so i do not really trust long term durability

All the name manufacturers use name brand cells lg sony samsung so its the electronics that really matter

I received the kit and drilled several holes using a 12” drill through a pressure treated 4x4 and it didn’t even flinch

When i purchased the product it was just shy of half the price this same kit was listed for at the big orange box store

Going with makita was a nobrainer with this xph14 hammerdrill which has a lot of great reviews everywhere
