Pros

In honesty, i'm not a daily user, in either sense of the word, but this does what it is supposed to do. Works great. What a great took to add to my inventory.

Uses my lithium batteries from my other tools. Easy to use, good adjustability and long battery life.

The rpms are a little lower than i would like, but the portability from being battery powered makes the loss in rpms acceptable. Trigger control is smooth - accelerates smoothly. The oem blades come with it are very sharp.

The response and cutting power is superb plus it’s even quieter. Our customers always need something shaped or trimmed on their slabs.

The makita * saw cuts with less bogging down and alignment struggles. I use this mostly for finishing saw cuts in hardwood, notching decking, coping crown, and the occasional pipe cut where nothing fits better. The only complaint i have is that the pl... Read More

Do yourselves a favor and goto a box store for this and other tools. The tool had obviously been used because it was covered in sawdust.

Low vibration easy to handle and hold straight cut

I had no issues inserting a blade and after my first cut the insert was damaged.

My disappointment was in the anti-splinter insert that was torn up on the first use.
