So i had to become inventive and actually glue each photo onto the sample photo sheet in order to line them up properly once i put the frame back together

It does take wrapping a wire or cord around the little triangles on the back you choose which ones the cordwire will connect depending on whether the frame will be hung vertically or horizontally
