I panicked about possible pseudo descriptions becauseonly the straps are 1000 lbs rated but i apprehensively hung it up set it so only 2 ft off ground and im 500

Doesnt look like the straps are going to break although it seems there may be some separation of threads around the first set of stitching where you have to hang the hammock

You dont have to tie any knots to hang your hammock the straps have loops sewn in
