Pros
This mat is more "tough" than a regular cushiony yoga mat, which offers a lot of support. I like that it is lightweight and did not slip from my hardwood floors but found it to be overpriced.
The quality of this yoga mat is awesome. It's nice and thick! Looks and feels great. Bought it as a gift, very impressed with the quality!
Cons

This is a superior quality mat and made performing yoga poses on it easier
Cheap yoga mats are toxic, they don't last long, they stretch, they lose their grip quickly, and many many of them are toxic.
I don’t think this yoga mat is designed to have drioping water on it.

Competitiveness
I usually use the cheap mats from tjmaxx or ross.
The last yoga mat i had which was this good was from prana, at was even more expensive, and i bought it fourteen years ago.

Other mats i’ve tried would easily be pressed flat but this mat stays supportive for bony areas like elbow and palm so they don’t touch the hardwood floor
