Pros & Cons
Pros
The manduka provides 5mm of cushion and has an open-cell surface that absorbs moisture. It's great on hardwood too. While the mat is thin, it's durable.
The manduka in leaf green is fantastic. It's thin, incredibly stable, lays down and stays put beyond all expectation. I have the purple though if the navy were in stock i'd have bought it!
These mats offer additional padding if you need a mat that's softer on your knees. The weight of the mat is great, so i used thick socks as padding for my knees.
The manduka pro lite is very sticky. Perfect for a workout. It's thin, so don't expect cushioning, but it's sticky enough and was perfect for my workouts.
Highlights
Quality
It has a really great grip and has held up nicely as i have had it for 2 years now.
In the hard class, when you sweat a lot, you still need to wipe it a little, but in general , it is the best one i have ever used
Over time the jade mat wears unevenly thin, bunches up in standing poses causing a subtle but real loss of balance.
My mat was likely never exposed to direct sun nor much heat, and it became mottled and discolored within a few months.
Price
If i was going to use it a lot, the price would be worth it, but the mat was honestly so uncomfortable that i’m not sure i’d want to.
It's not a huge deal, more of an annoyance, but at the price point, i wish it wasn't there.
Packaging/appearance
It is super lightweight, and folds up for packing in your suitcase, with no creases left once you open it, which is amazing!
Love how light and easy it is to pack on my carry on bag.
Because other reviewers commented on the smell, i took the mat out of the box and its wrapping, unrolled it to air out.
Packed it in my suitably folding it flat rather than rolling.
Competitiveness
I have both this mat and the jade travel and harmony mats, and this is way better than the jade product.

It is obviously a thin mat given its weight so you can lay it on a thicker mat if you like more cushion for your practice and want to use this one for the grip
