This time, i used table salt and rubbed it into the mat and let it sit for over 24 hours and it's not slippery anymore.
It won’t fit into my old yoga bag, so i’ll have to get some straps or a new bag (not sure yet what i’ll get, so cannot recommend).

I followed the directions at first putting coarse salt on the mat for 24 hours

The brand recommend to break it in with a sea salt treatment but i didnt do it i also heard that you can just use it to break it in too
