Pros
Mat folds up into a square shape and sits in a suitcase wonderfully. Lovely colour and grip is good imo. Didn't do the salt treatment, but use an eco all purpose cleaning spray to cut through any possible film or grease.

If doing vinyasa flow yoga or astana yoga used the harder surface

On carpet the mat is more pliable and stretches as your feet will sink in too far to transition quickly or smoothly

My particular was broken in by leaving it over night on my deck cover with sea salt then in sun until 200pm in michigan sun in the 60s

I really wouldnt advise leaving it in sun unless you want to soften the surface and make it more pliable

I did take it to a hot yoga class to test it out that is definitely not what it’s designed for
