Pros
The grip on this towel is amazing! I spritz a little water over the top and bottom where my feet and hands are going to be during practice. It is super soft, like a microfiber suede.
It seems authentic and is just as amazing and absorbent as my old one. Still looks brand new tho.
Minimal slipping, stays in place well, doesn’t smell funky. The only thing i don't like is that it slides all over the place and i have to readjust the mat after certain moves.
It is on the higher end for a towel, but it stays in place, absorbs the sweat, and is very soft. Great for absorbing sweat. Keeps me in position even though i'm not sweating a lot.
Cons
This towel has zero grip. It is so slippery that i had to remove it from my mat and choose to sweat all over the mat to avoid falling in downward dog at my hot yoga class.

I sweat a lot and regardless of the absorbency of the mat, i was still slipping or straining myself not to slip.

For the price, you can’t beat it

Competitiveness
I have probably 10 towels in different brands including a yogitoes and this towel is by far my favorite.
I bought it based on the assertion that it was "the best mat for hot yoga" on an independent website.
I looked a lot of towels, and decided to go with another manduka brand.
I'll still use it, but when it needs to be replaced, i'll probably try a different brand.
