Under sweaters the small would be fine but if i want to be able to remove the sweater i have sized up to m as the lovely soft fabric is very stretchy

Washed and tumbled without noticeable shrinkage although the fabric is such that you would not need to tumble it would hang dry beautifully if

I found it runs true to size but because its stretchy you could go down one size and it just fit snug
