Love these pliers for freshwater fishing. Very compact, the side cutter has no problems with braid or mono. With the pliers holstered i never notice wearing them until they're needed.

If you've never used parallel grip pliers before, the first time you cinch down the tag end of a knot, you'll be a convert.

I now prefer these to the larger pair because they are easier to manipulate in tight spaces yet they maintain a vicelike grip on line or hooks
