Highlights
Quality
High quality product and should last a long time.
They are strong, durable, and cut braid.
I had the same one of those sheaths on a pair of walmart mustad pliers fell apart immediately.
I have never rinsed these in two years of fishing in the surf 10-15 times/ season.
Price
Good value for most normal everyday fishing salt or fresh water.
For the price these fishing pliers are freaking amazing.
I used them guiding in alaska this summer and everyone freaked out thinking they were like $200 able pliers.
Plus, at this price, you can easily replace these if you lose them in the water or if anything happens to them.
Shipping
Excellent customer service as well - sent in a question about the product and had an answer within 10 minutes.
Emailed seller and got a replacement cutter in days.
The cutter on mine fell off but the seller quickly sent me a new pair; so customer service is outstanding!
Packaging/appearance
I wrapped mine with tennis racket tape .
The lanyard is a great idea also.
Competitiveness
Highly recommend these over some other fly fishing branded pliers that start in the $200+ range.
These fishing pliers are significantly better than the similar design i had been using.
No reason to spend any more money on a "big name" brand.
