Mantello xl universal bamboo wood knife block storage holder organizer is disappointing. It's difficult to insert knives all the way in.
The bristles are not thick enough and bend easily. The tines get crossed internally. The plastic bristle sticks get all jammed up inside. Because of this, the blades actually stick out a bit and it's dangerous.

Even though it says not to put too many knives in there,im embarrassed to say thati have 17 knives and a pair of scissors in there.
Over ten years the plastic inside broke down and it got harder to put as much in the block so we got another one.

The steel is fairly thin and low grade so it picksup finger prints easily… but also cleans easily enough
