Pros

Mantis composter is great for composting. Compost makes good mulch around planes. Easy to assemble.

A very nice looking and large capacity compos tumbler with an easy crank. I've tried several types of compost tumblers, butthis style is my favorite. Fyi compost tea my old and smaller compost bin has a collection tank for compost tea.

Took some tome to assemble. The instruction booklet is pretty clear as far as it goes. Operation of the completed machine is straightforward.

For the fastest composting, try to give it a nice sunny location. I am up north in omaha where the summer temperatures are often cooler.

Cons

Metal is very very thin - mystery asian/china alloy. They work great until they rust out or the plastic parts break, which they do periodically.

Mantis is no longer able to supply replacement parts. The hard copy instructions are complicated and unhelpful. I contacted customer service, was asked to resend information.
