Mantis sensor/app package is great at picking up and analyzing dry fire. If you’re on the fence because the cost i promise you there will be no regrets. It makes dry firing much more fun and it's more likely you'll actually practice dry firing.

The scoring system is straightforward and turns it into a game. The 'playback' feature is very useful to identify your release and follow through. It's hard to tell what exactly it is gauging that off of.

The mantis system provides real-time feedback, facilitates rapid skill improvement, and provides lots of encouragement to drive up one's scores quickly. It provides a level of granularity in feedback that i could never hope to get otherwise.

Technique corrections are useful for novice and intermediate shooters. The app graphically shows you the time it takes you to perform each phase of a shot.

Chances are i got a bad unit. Disappointment is an understatement.
