Depends on how fine you would like the ingredients turn out to be you basically dont need a lot of effort although it is a manual chopper

There are too many parts and it takes too long to clean

After cutting carrots and potatoes into super tiny pieces because my picky dogs will typically leave the peas and carrots if they are too large it was over an hour later and my hands hurt like you would not believe

The more times you pull the string the smaller the pieces get

I pull the string about five six or seven times to get them super small for the finicky dogs
