One would think there would be a way to quiet that and have a better product

It was such a pain to measure and cut such long rolls and the cuts were never straight which meant wasting vinyl

What you use to line up your cut is the edge of the metal platform because thats exactly where the blade runs hence the initial squeaking of metal on metal before applying wd40
