About 3 years into service the power supply failed i called marineland and they were extremely friendly and helpful

If you have a power outage or disconnect the light then your timer settings will be wiped out

The lamp generates quite a bit of heat so you have to be careful handling them when the light is on and there is no glass or plastic to protect the leds from getting splashed on

If you have a 36 tank youll only get a 24 inch lamp with arms that extend 6 inches to either side

Lets be serious the fact that it takes 2 min to reprogram after the power outage is not a big deal as the same goes for your stove clock
