Pros
The rena siphon pump is very quiet and has good suction. It is heavier than rena but hooks up easy.
This setup is on a 75 gallon aquarium. Mine is the 220 gpm, 55 gal model.
Price beats most local prices. Great filter for the price. Extra space for my amo chips to keep ammonia out.
The gasket is completely essential and not mentioned. The only downside is there is no way to insert the heater into the canister. Easy instructions, and everything, parts come with it.

All in all i would probably buy again for the price.

It wasnt coming from the main seal or the primer plunger but from within the valve block

You have to disassemble the valve block and replace the orings on the nipples

Lube all the orings in the valve block with a food grade silicone grease and you should be good for 6 months or so

If you can use a more flexible hose it might help the orings last longer
