Pros

They run silent and come in a variety of sizes and circulation output. It is a smidge louder than i would like, however it isn't too loud. Came with suction cups to mount.

Cons

Marineland seems to care more about selling quantity then retaining their customers.

The maxi-jet 1200 is so loud that it's distracting and disturbing. It is under-powered given the 230 gph rating and 4. I will be replacing this one for a different brand that is quieter, hopefully.

This thing didn't even make it 3 months and started making noise.

Price

For the price these pumps are awesome.

This pump is value priced and very powerful.

Nice affordable little powerhead they work well for the price.

It's nice that is less expensive than my old units.

High quality also, better than what they sell in stores.

I did not know i could switch this between a powerhead and a wave maker with all the parts included.

Buy as many others as you like, then compare.
