Water bottle over the inlet with a handful of poly-fill to filter out contaminants.
Other than that, it's a good, dependable pump with a longer warranty than the cheaper models out there.
Bought this for my 38 gallon bowfront undergravel filter because i got fed up with air pumps, air stones and tubing.

When your do water change if the water drips below the pump you will have to face the pump upward to release the air lock

I took it apart and realized it wasnt fully secured and it worked fine once i put it back together
