The japan import mario classic color amiibo is pretty much the same as the standard north american version the writing is the same and the two arent region locked the only real differences are in some parts of the writing on the package

I think the price is good for a collectible figure alone the fact that it also gives you access to extra materials in games feels like an extra feature even though thats supposed to be the main marketing point

The amiibo is detailed in 8 bit blocks it is larger than most amiibos and the text super mario bros 30th is written in english

The packaging front is in japan and in english the packaging back in japan and screen shots from mario maker showing how it works
