Pros
The journal is my favourite size and shape, the pages are smooth. The thickness of the paper is great. The book itself is a very lovely hard material, it's sturdy and holds the pages together very well.
The cover is a very nice almost rubbery material. The back pocket is rather flimsy, but its not a big deal for me personally. It is a bit bulky but the cover has a nice design and texture. The elastic closure is nice.
Hardcover sketchbook. Comes with a very thin plastic vinyl sheet to help protect the other side of the paper. Would reccomend as a general sketchbook, and works well for some illustrations as well.
Cons
I'm sure the sketchbook is adequate.

Packaging/appearance
Super fast shipping in one day and excellent packaging - shrink wrapped and placed in a fitted box within another box.
An unexpected surprise inclusion was a plastic sheet to slip behind the sheet you're using to avoid any leakage.
Competitiveness
I bought this to use with my ohuhu alcohol brush markers.
This pad has the most blendable surface ever.
I noticed some white speckling with my more pale copic markers which is unfortunate but to be expected with more toothy paper.

For those wondering there is no finish on the back to prevent bleeding

There is a very tiny embossed logo on the top right corner but it is practically invisible and gets hidden by the closure strap

You can do a light wash with water color if you don’t mind a little wrinkle in the pages

The envelope pocket at the back is a little awkward as it opens towards the spine

I like to paint over both pages sometimes and was worried that the perforations on each page would be large and bumpy
