The dimmer works great. The spread of the leds into a bar shape helps to dissipate heat easier than the design with all leds grouped together in a single rectangle shape. The only downfall is that the light is super bright.

This light really compliments itself. This is the light you deserve. This light is intense! Love the light.
The mars hydro fc 4800 is absolutely the perfect light for a 1 sq m space at this price level. The light now functions as advertised. Ready to upgrade to a bigger light.

Very good led grow light and it has a lot of power.
To adjust lighting is a great way to dial in your grow space while keeping it enclosed and without light leakage.
Above my canopy, i have it dialed in at 1050 ppfd while only using 90% of the power.
It only lasted about 9 months before burning out.
Price
Was really looking forward to them since i payed over 500$ .
The price to performance is so good for the fc1500.
On sale for $20 less than i paid for mine.
If you have time i'd wait for a sale.
