Pros & Cons
Pros
The material is thick and strong and unbelievably reflective. Not too expensive and no to cheaply made either. The intake and exhaust ports are well constructed and all of the seams appear to be light proof.
No light leaks at all, fits a growers choice roi 420 perfectly too. Velcro is actually good, almost blocks 100% light.
Cons
Tent has huge wrinkles in it that make it not fit. I wish i would have bought a different tent because loosing 4 expensive seeds, coco, nutrients, power consumption and time this tent just left me with hermi plants that are useless. Would like a quali... Read More
The zipper is big, sure enough, but i question its sturdiness, as it constantly jams and requires force application.
Leaks also means valuable co2 is leaking out. No way to use a flex hose for an air intet.

Price
I think grow tents as a general rule are overpriced for what they are, but if you wait for a sale it helps to justify the cost.
For the money you can't beat it.
Competitiveness
This tent is the perfect size, actually the only brand that i could find in multiple sizes of which one was perfect for me.
The mars wins in all ways over the spider farmer.
I tried another brand tent in the same price range and this one was at least twice as good in quality.
Bought another brands tent and it's horrible and filled with holes.

Being very limited on space this smaller size tent fit my needs

Some people are more concerned about keeping the light from going into the tent during flowering stages of growth but i think that notion is a bit too paranoid because any plant with naturally be exposed to moonlight anyway

Some other brands are insanely priced that cannot be justified evereven on sale but mars hydro is decently priced in comparison to other similar products and its worth paying the few extra dollars above the flimsy lower quality tents available

Hopefully as indoor growing of plants in a controlled environment becomes more popular the prices of indoor growing supplies will come down
