I started this grow with an older burple grow light that used to work well but the diodes got dimmer over a couple of years

I had an issue with the driver turning the unit off i contacted customer service and they were ready to send me a new light so they could take this one apart and find out why it wasnt working

I pay enough for prime not to take advantage of trying outa light and sorry to all the reviews misleading some to toss money at samsung leds or the mw drivers that do nothing extra for canopy penetration or results from your grow the only company in the same price tang would be the philson linear 1000

The mars so and slm series are great lights and for most more than you will need spider farms is a great company and nothing against them just nothing they are offering right now that justifies the extra money i do laugh when i watch or read a review when a indoor grower seems to brag about the meanwel driver and samsung led slime they are trying to convince themselves for paying more for two parts of the grow light that shouldn’t cost more unless they do more and they don’t i think it’s great customer service to say call before leaving bad reviews only if they had something like a rebate to even out a price not manipulate thereviewprocess with mars including a timer it’s even more of a bargain

So for what it’s worth don’t go over budget if your deciding between a sf or a mars you can spend less and get more or the same

Read up on deep and far red in the true grow spectrum that the graph in use today is still from the 1970s before deep red and far red were offered in use via a diode or mix of shades as they are available today
