Pros
One sp3000 light will cover an entire 2x4 tent. At 80inchs. Suns is 60 o think the mars is also 1680d and suns is 600d so theres that. Only thing im mad about is that i was impatient and didnt wait buyin the tent.
Sp3000 is an incredible value; includes dimmer, detachable ballast. This is the 3rd model of light ive purchased from them, i have a cpl ts series leds as well that are also as top of the line as this one is.
The attached photos are of my happy spearmint plants in my grow tent. Sufficient for flowering/fruiting plants as well. Plants are from ilgm seeds planted them straight in the soil and put the light 24 inches above they sprouted in two days amazing.
The light has a high quality metal heat sink at the top and dissipates heat very well. The new light also runs much cooler than the old one - saving more energy.
This light is incredible. The quality of the build and light is top notch. Great customer service.
Cons
Amazon needs to vet their sellers when it comes to things like this. Make a return and write an honest review. Calls and emails to marshydro customer service result in no response. For $399 seems like there should be some response.
The heat-sink appears to be heavy duty, but the metal pieces are flimsy.

It’s dimmable and doesn’t produce hardly any heat.
So, after about 6 months of solid use two diodes blew.

Within days it was back 'on sale' for what i paid for the 1st one.
The price today was nearly $100 higher.
Shipping
Contacted the company anyways, and 4 days later a new one was at my door.
The delivery is what was lacking for this purchaser.

Even though this is a 2023 model it doesn't use the most efficient leds(samsung evo) but rather last generations samsung lm301b leds.
