Bought this approx 35 days ago, now just outside return window. Wow, very bummed on this supposedly reputable brand.

The only miss (and it's a big one) is that they must be daisy-chained, and the package only includes one power cord for both lamp units.

Potential buyers should be aware that these red lights only cover a small portion of the needed light spectrum for plants and have a very specific function that may or may not be helpful to your plants and what youre hoping to achieve with them

If that doesnt make sense to you id recommend doing some research before buying these as they are not 34general purpose34 grow lights

Good luck trying to use them as side lighting in even a 2x2 grow tent one of the three ways to use the lights as advertised in the product description as the length of the attached daisychain cables will not allow for this

You also likely wont be able to mount these on separate shelves and still power both units

Many folks have complained about this and at the time of this review it seems you cant even buy an additional power cable from them

Im hoping mars hydro wises up and decides to include two power cables in future iterations of these products because it feels a lot like being nickelanddimed on an otherwise expensive specialty product
