Pros

My only nitpick is the * auto-off feature. The only downside to it is that it isn't wireless - so it needs to be plugged in to the wall. The placement is a little easier as you don't need access to the * on top all the time.

This is by far the best bluetooth speaker i have ever heard! Great speaker with a great kick to it. The speaker looks elegant.

I hate when a product i want to love disappoints me. I hope you remove the scums that bought the * parts you installed. Mine now serves as a lifeless decoration on a kitchen side table since it meshes so well with my retro decor.

Bluetooth keeps dropping. But the drops are frustrating. It last for a year or two then just quits. Which is lame.

If you are wanting to have a dependable speaker this isn't it. Those pop-up bluetooth speakers you get free at conventions will connect effortlessly and yet this thing never has. I know optical to rca through a dac takes out the volume and robustness ... Read More

For the price you really can’t beat it.

Absolutely unreal for a speaker this size, and at this price.

Would never buy it at regular price though.

All in all not bad and worth the mid $200's i paid.

I bought a refurbished one but it was as good as new when it arrived.

Looks great and certainly fits my decor.

Competitiveness

I had another one from a different pricey brand, and although this one is also pricey, it is well worth it and sounds so much better.

I've got several bluetooth speakers around (bose, ue, jbl), but this is by far the best.

I was comparing this to a bose speaker which i considered "affordably top of the line".

The bass is not full as the bose.
